Criveller Group’s CFI Crossflow Filter Featured in Wine Business Monthly

Innovative High-Solids & Multipurpose Filtration System Earns Industry Attention

Criveller Group is pleased to announce that its groundbreaking CFI crossflow filter has been featured in the July 1 edition of Wine Business Monthly, highlighting its role as a leader in high-solids and multipurpose filtration technology. This recognition reinforces Criveller’s long-standing reputation for delivering equipment that responds directly to the needs of modern winemaking.

Built for both lees-rich product recovery and standard wine filtration, the CFI is a versatile, all-in-one solution that significantly reduces downtime, simplifies operations, and maximizes product yield. Winemakers no longer need separate equipment for clear wine and solids-heavy filtration—the CFI handles both with ease.

Innovative Features Garnering Industry Recognition:

  • Exceptionally High Throughput: The CFI delivers significantly higher flow rates on lees, optimizing processing times and boosting overall productivity.
  • High-Solids Handling: Capable of filtering juice, wine, and heavy lees, the system provides unmatched flexibility across winemaking applications.
  • Compact, User-Friendly Design: Requiring minimal footprint, the CFI is fully automated, easy to maintain, and eliminates the need for filtration aids like perlite or D.E.

“The CFI is a game-changer,” said Davide Criveller, CEO at Criveller Group California. “Its ability to process lees and wine with the same unit gives winemakers more control, better yields, and lower operational costs—all with one streamlined system.”

Criveller Group Unveils Groundbreaking C51 High Solids Cross Flow for Wine Lees Filtration

CRIVELLER CALIFORNIA Criveller Group Unveils Groundbreaking C51 High Solids Cross Flow for Wine Lees Filtration.

Criveller Group, a global leader in winemaking equipment and technology, is proud to announce the launch of the revolutionary C51 High Solids Cross Flow Filtration System. This cutting-edge system represents a significant advancement in winemaking technology, offering enhanced performance and efficiency for the wine industry.

The C51 High Solids Cross Flow Filtration System is engineered to meet the evolving needs of winemakers worldwide. It boasts key innovations including:

  1. Stainless Steel Membrane Technology: Unlike traditional membranes, the C51 employs stainless steel membranes that offer unparalleled durability and longevity. This innovative design ensures consistent and reliable filtration performance, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.
  2. High Solids Handling Capability: The C51 is engineered to handle high solids loads with ease, making it an ideal choice for wine lees filtration. This capability ensures minimal product loss and maximum wine recovery (can be up to 90% recovery), ultimately improving the overall winemaking process.
  3. Exceptional Flow Rates: Criveller's C51 High Solids Cross Flow boasts significantly higher flow rates compared to conventional lees cross flow systems. In some cases, winemakers can expect flow rates up to 2 to 3 times greater, accelerating the filtration process and allowing for increased productivity without compromising wine quality.
  4. User-Friendly Interface: Criveller Group understands the importance of user-friendly equipment. The C51 features an intuitive interface that simplifies operation and maintenance, allowing winemakers to focus on their craft.
  5. Eco-Friendly Design: Criveller Group remains committed to sustainability. The C51 minimizes waste and water consumption, making it an environmentally responsible choice for wineries of all sizes.

Not only does the C51 deliver unmatched efficiency, but it also raises the bar for wine quality. When compared to traditional rotary vacuum drum filters, the C51 boasts superior performance in key quality metrics. These include:

  • NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units): The C51's advanced filtration technology significantly reduces NTU levels in the filtered wine, ensuring crystal-clear clarity and visual appeal.
  • Dissolved Oxygen Pickup: The C51 minimizes the risk of oxygen exposure during filtration, resulting in substantially lower levels of dissolved oxygen pickup. This preservation of wine integrity is crucial for maintaining the wine's freshness and taste.
  • Aroma Preservation: The C51's gentle filtration process safeguards the delicate aromas and flavors of the wine, preserving its distinctive characteristics and ensuring that the consumer experiences the wine as the winemaker intended.

Our commitment to innovation and excellence has led us to develop this state-of-the-art solution, which we believe will redefine winemaking filtration. With stainless steel membrane technology at its core, the C51 offers winemakers reliability, efficiency, and cost savings like never before.

The C51 High Solids Cross Flow Filtration System is now available for wineries seeking to enhance their filtration processes. For more information, please contact one of our offices (707) 431 2211 in Healdsburg, CA or (905) 357 2930 in Ontario, Canada.

Peristaltic Pumps Undisputed Delicate Transfer Pump!

Enoveneta’s peristaltic pumps range in speed from 1 to 50 tons per hour with trough and 265 to 18,000 gallons per hour without trough.

Shockingly Affordable - There is a common misconception that peristaltic pumps are a luxurious expense. You'd be surprised to find out that most of our peristaltic pumps are between 12K-20K with troughs, and even less without trough (depending on the size). That's less than most of our competitors pumps.

Undisputed Delicate Transfer Pump - There are many other pumps that state they are delicate with must but the real champion is and always will be the peristaltic pump. It has the largest unobstructed product cavity for must transfer in comparison to any pump ever designed. Period.

Inexpensive to Maintain - The tube is the only part of the pump that will need to be replaced. With proper care the tube should last 5 years or more. We have clients that have been using the same tube for over 10 years!! This equates to as little as $100.00 to $200.00 a year in maintenance costs. Basically the same cost as a flexible impeller pump.

Unbeatable features:

  • Adjustable rollers - Our pumps offer customization "squeezability" of the rollers against the tube. As the tube ages the user can increase the tightness of the roller to push more product.

  • Truly universal - Trough can be removed for use as a regular pump

  • No more wires - Wireless remote available
    Several options available:

  • Flow meter for precise transfers available

  • Enzyme pump addition is available

  • Barrel transfer kit with automatic pump shut off

  • Flow/pressure regulation of the pump to maximize gentle transfer
