CA wineries - Time to renew your CA ABC 02 licensesAll CA wineries hold a type 02 Winegrower license with the CA ABC. This includes all businesses that are APs (alternating proprietors) at a winery site.
The CA ABC created an online platform two years ago that now allows wineries to renew their license online.

Industry members are encouraged to submit their feedback directly to the TTB via their simple online forms.

Does your winery qualify to use the EZ version of the CA Grape Crush Report?The CA Grape Crush report is due on Jan 10th. All CA wineries (= businesses that hold a type 02 ABC license!) must file this report each year.
A couple years ago the CDFA created an EZ version of their scary report.

Napa Valley has its newest sub AVANapa Valley has its newest sub AVA, the Crystal Springs of Napa Valley which wineries can begin listing on their labels Nov 15th of this year. That brings the total to 17 sub AVAs within Napa Valley. The TTB has some great resources on their site including their AVA Map Explorer which is a huge resource for wineries to confirm the boundary details of any AVA.

No Nos on your weigh tags!Wineries are busy filling out a lot of "weigh tags" right now! I have talked a lot over the years about the do's and don'ts around how to fill these out.
