Friends! Happy New Year to you. We're jumping right into 2026 with a special announcement: Enolytics SNAPSHOT just went live. Snapshot is exactly as it sounds: Quick. At-a-glance. Visual. Timely. Gut check. And free. In this case, we'll be snapshotting the wine DTC landscape on the first or second day of every month. Today's snapshot includes all of DTC wine sales in 2025, and also Q4 of 2025, and the month of December 2025 specifically. HERE IT IS. Snapshot is FREE for anyone to access. We've built it to automate monthly, so that you can reliably keep your finger on the business pulse of our industry. Snapshot is another way that Enolytics is giving back to our community, and to helping raise the bar around wine, data and results. I'd love to hear what you think, and how we can make it better. Thank you, as always, for reading and for your interest -- Cathy

Oak plays a defining role in a wine’s character, from subtle vanilla and spice notes to deeper structural complexity. Whether your winery is aiming for a delicate touch or a bold, barrel-driven style, your oak plan is more than just a choice of barrels. It’s a strategy that blends sensory targets, timeframes, and production goals. BevZero Equipment’s advanced beverage processing equipment, Vinfoil®, PolarClad®, Implen®, and ClearAlc®, works together to help winemakers execute that plan with precision, consistency, and efficiency. Here’s how: 1. Vinfoil Mixers: Even Oak Integration When wine sits in tank with oak staves, chips, or other adjuncts, stratification can cause uneven extraction. Vinfoil Mixers gently circulate wine, ensuring every drop has equal contact with oak, resulting in: Balanced flavor development Consistent tannin integration Reduced maturation times without losing complexity Example: A winery aiming for a round, well-integ

Hard to believe, we are a quarter of the way through 2025! It seems like just yesterday we were starting 2025, but here we are, 90 days in to the "new" year. Here are a few things you may have missed, things that caught our eye (or ear), and a few actionable ideas for the next quarter. 2024 Annual Report Card - WISE Mystery Shopping Triple Score In early 2025, we released our Annual Triple Score Report Card. While Mystery Shopping covers over 75 criteria points, these three are perhaps the most important. How often are our Mystery Shoppers asked buy wine, how often are they warmly invited to join the wine club, and how often are they asked to keep in touch via joining the mailing list? In 2024, we saw a dramatic decline in Triple Score averages. In particular, data collection is critically low at just 18%—meaning we’re only asking fewer than one in five guests to keep the conversation going. Wine clubs work because people DO like to be part of them (did you know

The Marketing Behind Come Over October Hopefully, by now, you’ve seen some wineries participate in Come Over October, a new program launched to benefit the wine industry. Our industry is facing a critical shift where the cultural narrative around wine is being scrutinized. At the same time, loneliness and isolation are now at epidemic levels, and the simple act of sharing wine, which has always been a catalyst for connection, seems to be losing its place. The goal of Come Over October, launched by wine journalist Karen MacNeil and PR veterans Gino Colangelo and Kimberly Noelle Charles, is to counter these trends. The idea is simple: encourage friends, family, and colleagues to “come over” in October to share a bottle and reconnect. It’s not about fancy wine pairings or breaking the bank—just using wine as a focus to celebrate being together in an increasingly disconnected world. The wine industry, as always, adapts to challenges, and this campaign is a re
