Originally built in 2012 to accommodate equestrian events, the pavilion at Chalk Hill Estate Vineyards and Winery underwent a full-scale renovation in 2018. The pavilion can host both large scale events and intimate, VIP experiences like access to this wine tasting room on the lower level. Stone flooring that matches the slate used throughout the property helps to bring a sense of cohesion to the large estate. The Heitz Cellar Tasting Salon project is a historical renovation of a beautiful stone building and surrounding property. Guests who come to visit will now meander down a reconfigured entry drive to a welcoming entry court. Additional aspects of this project include completely new landscaping and features around the property will include artistic fountains, a patio trellis with stone pavers and cobblestone accents that continue throughout the site, as well as improved accessibility. The project was designed with sustainability in mind, including the use of and exquisitely milled timber from Nicasio’s wood farm for the fireplace mantel and lighting controls to maximize daylighting.  

Located in Napa, the Mumm Blending Expansion project entailed the new construction and expansion to an existing winery facility. Construction operations were required to ensure no disruption to Mumm’s production and bottling operations. To ensure no interruptions, the project required a sharpened approach to scheduling and coordination, workflow sequencing, and flexibility. Contact GMH Builders to get started on your winery project!
