Day-long Exploration of the Confluence of Cannabis and Wine; Reimagining the Coexistence Healdsburg, CA, August 11, 2021 – Wine Industry Network (WIN) hosted the 5th Annual Wine & Weed Symposium on August 5th at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country in Santa Rosa, CA. Once again, professionals from the cannabis and wine industries came together to explore the latest information surrounding the impact of legalized recreational cannabis on California’s wine industry with special emphasis on how the cannabis category performed over the last 18 months. The 5th annual symposium hosted nearly 250 attendees from the wine and cannabis industry. Twenty companies were on hand to showcase new products and services. Terry Wheatley, President of Vintage Wine Estates and Chairwoman of the Board for CannaCraft, delivered the event’s keynote speech. Wheatley spoke to the intersection of the wine and weed industries and how each can learn and profit from the other.
