New Vineyard Planting Showcased in La Costa
A new planting of Early Sweet™ with Michael Shipley and Brandon Campos from Los Arroyos in the La Costa region. This was planted early June and is already starting to take off. We look forward to seeing this vineyard next season and how far it has progressed! We would like to also give a big thanks to Juan Pablo McLaurin and his company Carnes Mc for all the support on our trip to Hermosillo and the amazing food. Tacos prepared fresh right in front of us and an amazing meat shop right next door. This is top quality local dining at its best!

Mapping Joy: HipMaps Enhances the Winery Experience
When wine enthusiasts visit a tasting room, they usually have a general knowledge of the winery’s reputation and its wine region. They’re looking forward to tasting and learning more about the wines and enjoying the culinary experience. They may research the area before traveling, follow the winery on social media, search Google, or reach out to friends and family for ideas on other things to do on their trip.  Visitors often ask tasting room staff for recommendations on places to stay, the best restaurants for dining, and other wineries and attractions to visit. While the winery team is always happy to help, they’re often too busy to help with more than a few quick suggestions.  Innovative mapping company HipMaps has a solution. The company works with a winery, chamber of commerce, grower association, hotel, or event organization to design a map customized to their needs and branded with their logo and style. The map can include anything from recommen

This refresh is necessary because our content and feature needs change and our consumer eCommerce and browsing habits are constantly changing. Look at the wine business in the past four years and how much has changed since pre-COVID. In addition to the obvious design revitalization, we should also be re-evaluating our website goals and needs on this three-year frequency. When facing a redesign, the first question that crosses the minds of most is, “Should I use a template or have this custom-built?” If you have done a big website from scratch before, you hired a designer and then a developer,
