19th Annual Harvest STOMP
Harvest STOMP is an exciting harvest-season celebration that brings together growers, vintners, and community members who care deeply about Napa Valley’s agricultural future. From exceptional wines to spirited entertainment, the event marks the start of harvest while raising vital funds to support the Napa Valley Grapegrowers and their work cultivating viticultural excellence and environmental stewardship across the valley. As part of the evening, this year’s Fund-a-Need will directly benefit the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation, the region’s only organization exclusively dedicated to advancing farmworkers and their families through education and professional development. This work strengthens long-term opportunity and stability, creating lasting impact across Napa Valley. More than a celebration, Harvest STOMP is a shared investment in Napa Valley’s future. Get ready to raise a glass, raise a paddle, and celebrate the people and stewardship behind Napa Valley

From Harvest to Holidays: Turning Fall Winery Events into Year-Round Customer Loyalty
The Post-Harvest Drop-Off Fall brings a flurry of activity to wine country. Tasting rooms fill with eager visitors, social media buzzes with harvest photos, and the energy is palpable. Then November arrives, and for many wineries, engagement plummets. According to Silicon Valley Bank's 2024 Direct-to-Consumer Wine Survey, the average winery converts less than 15% of harvest event attendees into repeat customers by year-end. This represents an enormous missed opportunity. The wineries that thrive year-round don't view harvest as a seasonal peak but as the starting point of a strategic customer journey.  Harvest Is Your Customer Acquisition Funnel Stop thinking of harvest events as isolated experiences and start viewing them as the top of your sales funnel. Smart consumer brands recognize that seasonal events provide a prime opportunity to collect valuable customer data while creating memorable brand experiences. These touchpoints become the first step in an ongoing relat

Sonoma County Winegrower’s Grape Camp Featured in The Wall Street Journal
We’re excited to share that Sonoma County Winegrowers’ 2025 Grape Camp was recently featured in The Wall Street Journal! Hosted from September 28 – October 1, Grape Camp brought guests into the heart of harvest for an unforgettable, hands-on immersion in Sonoma County wine country. Attendees met local winegrowers and winemakers, harvested grapes by hand, stomped fruit, crafted their own blends, and experienced the magic of harvest from vineyard to glass. As The Wall Street Journal captured, “the Sonoma County Grape Camp brings wine and adventure lovers alike to drink from dawn ‘til dusk and sample true viticulture,” perfectly reflecting the energy, camaraderie, and joy that made this year’s camp so special. Beyond the vineyard, campers enjoyed curated tastings, farm-to-table meals, and opportunities to learn directly from Sonoma County’s expert winemakers — a true celebration of wine, community, and the people behind it all. Is Minimalist Packaging the Right Choice for Your Wine or Spirit Brand?
In recent years, a minimalist design approach has become a core strategy for marketers and designers. This style is characterized by the use of simple decoration, colors, and typography, appealing to consumers due to the sleek and aesthetically pleasing look.  Producers are expected to keep up the ever-evolving consumer tastes – and this includes wine packaging. The packaging of wine is often challenging for most wine manufacturers as there are many different factors, for example the wine bottle shape and color, closure, label design, and boxes.  There are many different reasons as to why a consumer will purchase a particular wine. Taste is obviously a significant factor, but experience with the brand and appeal of the packaging is just as important.  When designing wine packaging, sometimes less is more. Simple packaging techniques can attract customers and be just as effective as more elaborate designs. There are two basic approaches to minimalist packaging:&nbs

What Will Affect Glass Bottle Availability in 2024?
As we venture further into the promising yet unpredictable landscape of 2024, the wine and spirit industry faces unprecedented challenges that are set to disrupt the availability of glass bottles. Buckle up, because there may be turbulence to come. What Factors Will Influence Glass Bottle Availability in 2024? Government Duties Threaten Supply Chains The United States International Trade Commission is likely to add duties to imports from overseas, particularly from Mexico, Chile, and China. This move is anticipated to disrupt supplies and inevitably escalate costs. The potential for increased duties adds an additional layer of complexity to an already intricate global supply chain.
