Brought to you through a partnership with Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance and Jackson Family Wines. Please join us for an informational workshop on BluVite! This session will be a brief overview of the BluVite project at Bloomfield Vineyard (Jackson Family Wines). During this presentation, Scott Welch, Vineyard Manager for Jackson Family Wines Petaluma Gap AVA, will talk about the background of the trial vineyard location and discuss the reasons why he chose to trial the BluVite product at his managed properties. JT Jaeger, Sustainable Viticulture Specialist at Enartis USA, will discuss the trial data and how a soil microbial application has shown to improve uniformity of canopy growth and, in turn, ripening kinetics. We investigate this using canopy evaluations and analysis of grape quality and yields. There will be a 15-minute Q&A session where the audience has the opportunity to ask both Scott and JT questions.
