Meet Carlos Martinez, Junior Network Engineer at Wineshipping At Wineshipping, we celebrate the talented individuals who keep our operations running smoothly across every site. Carlos is part of our IT Infrastructure department, where he plays a vital role in supporting all locations across our network. Carlos officially joined Wineshipping in April 2020, but his journey began much earlier—back in 2012 with Pack and Ship Direct, which was later acquired by 24 Seven Enterprises, and ultimately by Wineshipping. JUNE 24, 2024 – Experience RoseÌ, a wine competition that focuses exclusively on expressions of pink wine — sweet, dry and sparkling — has announced results of the 2024 contest. Taking top prize this year is Breathless WInes’ NV Brut Rosé, which judges described as “Toasty, nutty”; “raspberry and exotic spice”; “elegant, balanced with a long finish.” In addition to Best of Show, the wine also took honors as Best Domestic Sparkling. “This wine is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. This blending brings out the best of all three varieties and complexity to the finished wine,” says winemaker Penny Gadd-Coster. “Flavors of white cherry, lime and watermelon all wrapped up with an elegant style of Rosé. New increased minimum wage requirements will take effect on January 1, 2024, for the state of California, as well as multiple California cities and counties. The increased wages apply only to hours worked on or after January 1, 2024.
