Mitroff Consulting & Associates, a retained executive search firm, is conducting a search for the Senior Accountant/Office Manager on behalf of one of our winery Clients. The Client’s winery is among the great hillside and mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignons of the New World, Howell Mountain is legendary for the profound structure and sophistication of its wines. It is an area so unique that it became the first sub-appellation designated entirely within Napa Valley. Located on the high slopes of Howell Mountain, the winery is dedicated to honoring this renowned terroir and crafting timeless mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignons.

This is a newly created position and the finalist will have a role in developing and defining this outstanding opportunity.

Below is a brief summary of what we are looking for:

• A professional with five or more years of proven successful accounting experience, especially cost accounting
• Outstanding A/R and A/P skills as well as bank reconciliation; solid general ledger and financial statement preparation
• Proven financial and accounting expertise, with a particular understanding of how to manage these functions and make them as fully integrated a part of the overall business as possible
• Outstanding computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, able to multitask with ease and possess strong organizational skills
• An energetic and enthusiastic professional who is passionate about her/his work
• Detail oriented and accurate
• Value ethics, integrity and superior work environment on par with compensation
• Able to be entrusted with sensitive information and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Able to lift and carry a case of wine
• Able to meet demanding timelines
• A balanced professional with an optimistic attitude, a sense of humor, and ability to have fun
