Participants learn step-by-step guidelines for investigating complaints and how to avoid the legal pitfalls of investigations.  They will learn how to recognize workplace situations that require an investigation and how to develop an investigation plan. They will learn how to collect and record evidence, the rights of all parties involved in an investigation, how to identify and interview the parties and witnesses, how to assemble statements, how to write a detailed and thorough report, and how to make recommendations for next steps after an investigation is completed.
