Our Client is a boutique winery producing world class wines and their wines’ reflects the unique characteristics of its terroir. This newly created position of General Manager is an outstanding opportunity to have a hand in establishing the “footprint” – the General Manager’s vision – for this world class winery.

Here is a brief version of what we are looking for:

• five plus years of proven successful general management experience in the wine industry
  
  
• demonstrated track record of developing strategic plans, especially for a winery
  
  
• successful sales and marketing experience, both direct-to-consumer and through traditional channels, is mandatory
  
  
• proven, superior successful record of selling and marketing wine through an allotment versus a wine club model
  
  
• proven ability to build an upscale image of brands, especially consistent with premium and ultra-premium wines and vineyards
  
  
• excellent skills at managing others
  
  
• demonstrated ability to be diplomatic and not deviate from goals
  
  
• strong computer knowledge, skills and abilities
  
  
• successful experience overseeing the development of the tasting room
  
  
• possess high energy level, commitment to excellence, a balanced professional, with a sense of humor and someone who shows a lifetime effort to grow and be a contributor
  
  
• are driven to succeed … as a team
