Jim Lago founded Healdsburg Signs, Inc. in 1981. Possessing natural talents in design and an ability to read the needs of his customers, Jim has become one of the most sought after sign designer & consultants in the North Bay. His 29 years of experience produced literally thousands of signs, many with landmark or historical status. If Jim designs or produces your identification...it is obvious, the quality speaks for itself. His business is the standard in its field in regard to quality, honesty and integrity ....Jim has always insisted upon that.

Tami Lago is Jim's beautiful wife. She started working with him in 1992 and before other help was available, would handle all functions in the shop besides design & production. Today she concentrates on customer relations, and estimates all projects. She is one in a million, sweet as anyone can be, and a joy to be around. She enjoys the "mother" roll she seems to have established with the younger employees.

Mike Dale has been employed at Healdsburg Signs Inc since 1997 and is certainly one of the "go to" guys. He is the fabricator, and troubleshooter of the shop. Mechanical, technical and construction techniques that others struggle with are second nature to Mike. His honesty, integrity and loyalty are appreciated by all who work here, and are obvious virtues noticed by all who meet him.

Erin Lago, like her dad is a natural designer. She produces about half the designs at the shop, and aspires to become a certified graphic designer. At 22 years of age, she would definitely be considered a "go getter", having already reached goals others wait a lifetime to attain. She is the apple of her parents eye and they could not be happier that she has chosen to take up the family trade and work in the family business... she also asked me to mention that she is super cool.

Nicole Selberg is not only the sunshine of each day for all who work here, but all who have the pleasure of speaking to her on the phone. She manages the office and has most aspects of the shop under her control. She is organized, patient, kind and a perfect person for the job she does. She has been employed with us since 2005 and we would be lost without her.

We recently installed this sign for RIDGE WINERY right over the top of the smaller old version. It has raised letters and a bold redwood frame. The bottom rider sign is incise carved into rough redwood and looks great!  

CALDERWOOD is a 3-d carved and 23K gold leafed sign. The background is smalted, which is a very old technique done with the use of glass, similar to a very course black sand. Check this sign out on Grant Street just west of the Fire Department in Healdsburg - It is awesome!

We made the TAVERNA SOFIA sign recently through Eddinger Enterprises & John Holt for a new Greek restaurant here in Healdsburg. The owner Sophia is an awesome lady, and an incredible cook - you have to try this place out.
