Strengthening Technical Expertise and Customer Partnerships 

FAIRFIELD, Calif., (Dec. 26, 2025) — Encore Glass, a family-owned wine bottle supplier serving wineries across North America, has promoted Athena Zimlich from Technical Service Representative to Technical Account Manager.

In this expanded, hybrid role, Athena will continue supporting Encore’s Quality and Technical Services efforts while joining the Sales team to support existing customers and contribute to new business development. The position strengthens Encore’s customer service model by pairing deep technical expertise with commercial support.

Athena joined Encore Glass in 2018 and brings more than 14 years of wine industry experience. Her career began in harvest lab work and advanced to bottling supervisor roles overseeing multiple lines and large production teams. At Encore, she supports bottling operations across California’s Central Valley and Central Coast, helping customers maintain production continuity, quality standards, and on-time bottling schedules.

“Athena sets the standard for technical service,” said Encore leadership. “She shows up, solves problems, and earns trust through action. This promotion reflects the value she brings to our customers and our team every day.”

Known for her responsiveness and customer-first approach, Athena frequently supports customers on short notice, travels extensively to address line issues, and steps in outside regular hours when needed. Her ability to translate technical insight into clear, practical solutions has strengthened customer relationships and supported long-term growth.

Athena holds certifications in Home Winemaking Microbiology from UC Davis and Fracture Analysis from American Glass Research. Her leadership style centers on accountability, integrity, and respect across every level of the supply chain.

As Technical Account Manager, Athena will play a key role in aligning technical support with sales strategy, reinforcing Encore Glass’s commitment to dependable service, operational excellence, and long-term customer partnerships.

November 21, 2025 (Fairfield, CA) — Encore Glass Encore Glass, a family-owned wine bottle supplier serving wineries across North America, has promoted LC Giacobazzi to Sales Director. In this role, she will oversee Account Managers, lead sales processes and training, and support new business development in partnership with Director of New Business Development Phil King.

"LC earned this through years of doing the work. She builds trust, solves problems fast, and keeps the team aligned. Her leadership strengthens our sales group and our customer relationships. I'm proud of her growth and glad to see her take on this role," said Brad Tucker, Vice President of Sales.

LC joined Encore Glass in 2010 as a Customer Service Representative and has since built a wide-ranging career across Customer Service, Operations, and Account Management. Her 15 years of experience give her a comprehensive view of the customer life cycle and the operational demands of delivering dependable glass packaging. She has been a key contributor to the development of internal tools, sales resources, and service standards that support Encore's reputation for reliability and responsiveness.

Throughout her tenure, LC has strengthened customer relationships across major wine regions from Oregon to Southern California. Her background, combined with her track record of service, has made her a trusted partner for wineries and a consistent advocate for operational alignment and continuous improvement. She is also a three-time Encore Pillar Award honoree, recognized for her leadership and commitment to the company's core values.

As Sales Director, LC will guide Encore's growing Sales team with a focus on structure, training, and consistent customer engagement. Encore! Glass, Inc. Announces Relocation to Fairfield, California

Benicia, CA - May 13, 2013:  Encore! Glass, Inc., a premier wine bottle supplier, has announced they will relocate from Benicia, California to Fairfield, California - approximately 15 miles north of their current location.  During the first quarter of 2014, Encore! Glass will begin moving all products and employees to a 318,000+ square foot warehouse conveniently located near Interstate 80 and California State Route 12.

Encore! Glass President & CEO, Bradley Tucker, attended a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the new location on May 1, 2013 with representatives from the City of Fairfield Planning Department, The Buzz Oates Group of Companies and Colliers International.

Since its inception in 1975 in Richmond, California, Encore has expanded from 19 employees and less than 20,000sf of warehousing space to over 60 full time employees in 2013.  With the move to Fairfield, Encore is consolidating all of its warehousing and office locations.
